The Mini Facelift, “The Hour Lift” or “S” Lift

Many patients desire a less invasive form of a facelift or are not ready or need a full facelift. The “S” lift is a “mini” face lift, which involves placing incisions below the temporal hairline, in front of the curves of the ear and under the earlobe. This procedure can lift the jowl, tighten the muscles of the cheeks and remove skin with less recovery than that associated with a standard facelift. This procedure is also suited for the patient unwilling to stop smoking. The procedure can be performed using a local anesthesia thereby making general anesthesia obsolete.
